Dooz and I orbited one another for a long time before we finally made contact. After a few brief encounters, and a lot of encouragement from mutual friends, Dooz and I decided to get together and see if we clicked...
We did.
This episode is one of the first conversations we ever had, definitely being the longest we'd had at that point.
In this conversation, Dooz tells all about his life. From childhood, through into wild teens and reckless early twenties, we relive Dooz's journey of coming up, adventure, graffiti, hip hop, travel, mental health, insomnia and the tools he used (and still uses today) to conquer the shadows and live a wholesome life of vitality.
Since this conversation, Dooz and I have gone on to become brothers, with a bond that only continues to deepen with time.

When the woman reached my row she stopped and asked me something in Spanish.
It caught me off guard, and I didn’t hear a word of what she said.
“Que”? I asked her, and she repeated the sentence.
The only word I recognised was “banco”…
